Let's Talk About Race

Business Meeting

Race Confidence in the workplace

Many people still feel uncomfortable talking about race equality for a myriad of reasons. The purpose of these sessions is to help delegates get ‘comfortable with the uncomfortable’ and provide a compass as they navigate through their journey in understanding their role in taking action on racial inequalities – at an individual level and an organisational one.

What is the aim?

To encourage, support and inspire transformational conversations about race and delivering greater race equity in the workplace.

What are the objectives?

  • To increase understanding and knowledge of the lived experiences of diverse racial groups

  • To identify tools that support an inclusive approach

  • To help delegates understand their responsibility / accountability in building an anti-racist organisation

Why these sessions?

Our Sessions:

  • Are devised based empirical evidence

  • Uses practical examples

  • Encourages delegates to think about the action they can take

Our sessions are carefully facilitated and devised in a manner that walks delegates through the challenges people face when talking about race and steps to deal with them.
