Bloom in tough times

Snowdrops are one of few flowers that bloom during the Winter. Did you know that they have a built in anti-freeze. Even if they collapse in freezing weather they recover once the temperature rises! When temperatures and conditions are right, the outer petals open up revealing the nectar inside. When the temperature drops the petal shield closes and protects the nectar!
That made me think about staff networks? I know what you're thinking...how can you link staff networks to snowdrops? Here goes:
Even in the coldest conditions such as restructuring, burnout, low trust, EDI backlash, leadership silence, staff networks still:
- Push through
- Survive on very little
- Return year after year
- Signal the season is changing before the organisation feels itThe snowdrop is called many things including a symbol of hope but there ability to bloom during tough times, demonstrates their resilience.
Sounds like a staff network to me!
